“[Speaker: Mark Isherwood] We believe that a six-month delay to the scheduled election on 6 May would be too long. The Senedd, the National Assembly for Wales, as was, usually sat for four-year terms. Now, the Senedd is sitting for five. A delay to 5 November, bonfire night, would takes us halfway through a sixth year. There is no mandate for the people of Wales for that.”
