30 Sept 2026Higher-education mental-health liaison support remains limitedConcern
“[Speaker: Lynne Neagle] I care about higher education and further education, but a particular frustration is that £2 million was made available to Medr, which would include the roll-out of the mental health university liaison project. That was a recommendation of the predecessor committee back in 2023, and we're still in a position where only Cardiff and south-east Wales have that support. I believe that that support is vital to look after young people who are away from home, from their communities, from their GPs. What are you going to do to make sure that Medr actually deliver on this?”
